At Family Partnership Respite we believe in providing high quality, individualized respite care to children and young adults with disabilities and their families. We understand the challenges that families may experience navigating the right source of respite care for their loved one. We strive to professionally earn your trust in our practices. We offer a variety of respite services that focus on the needs and desires of each individual family and put every effort into ensuring that their loved one receive the best quality of respite care that is made available.

About Us

Family Partnership Respite is a family-oriented agency providing respite services in Airdrie and surrounding communities including Calgary.​

To fulfill our mission, we aim to create lasting memories by providing quality and enjoyable services to all of our clients and their families. We bring together rich experiences formed over many years of working with families caring for loved ones requiring extra support due to their ability. We belief parents know their child best, therefore, we put every effort to work in collaboration with families to ensure the best outcome for each child and their family.

At Family Partnership respite we are passionate about providing the care taker with most needed relief while ensuring their loved ones is nurtured and supported beyond their expectation. We value families' desires and choices of support and put every effort to listen to ensure the best holistic support for the family is provided while fostering an environment where every child is treated with respect and dignity to ensure comfort and joy.

We pride ourselves in providing respite support that gives families a peace of mind knowing their loved one is in safe and caring hands.

Services
In home care: Respite support is provided in the home environment. We work in partnership with families to develop best care service tailored to their specific child. This guides us in providing effective support while we nurture and encourage the child to positively work to achieve their identified goals.
Community Access: This include providing support to the child in participating in recreational activities in the community, including visiting the library, gym, going to the movies, walking and more.

Developmental Behaviour Aid: Developmental behaviour support is provided at the daycare and other community facilities. We work in collaboration with daycare staff and other professional involved to ensure holistic support is provided to help the child achieve the planned objective.
​
PDD-Family Managed: Respite support may occur at home or in the community. This support involves encouraging positive, safe and healthy life skills, advocating for and accessing appropriate community programs and resources.
We also provide companionship and overnight support in client’s home.
